I am recently retired and starting a blog (for the first time) as a hobby. This will be a learning experience; I hope to have fun and provide interesting content. Hopefully this site will show continual improvement as I get the hang of this.
The blog is intended to be a journal of the natural world throughout summer in the northern Minnesota lake county. Subjects will include native plants, wildlife, and occasional garden updates.
Photos will be the primary content. As my first entry I’ll share some pictures and a short video from today’s early morning kayak excursion.
